Exosomes

Exosomes are nanoscale, cell-derived vesicles that contain signalling molecules, growth factors and bio-active agents designed to stimulate tissue regeneration, collagen production and cellular renewal. These can be applied topically or via delivery systems to target skin texture, pigmentation, scarring and hair loss.

In our clinic we use Purasomes – a clinically advanced exosome system – to deliver regenerative benefits to both the skin and the scalp. The treatment is ideal for:

• Dull, uneven or tired skin
• Fine lines, crepiness, enlarged pores
• Pigmentation, scar reduction, post-treatment skin enhancement
• Thinning hair, early male and female pattern hair loss (in combination with dedicated hair-loss protocols)

This treatment is suited to adult men or women who:

• Have early signs of skin aging, texture changes, uneven tone, sun-damage or post-treatment rejuvenation goals.
• Are noticing thinning hair or early pattern hair loss and wish to pursue a regenerative, non-surgical approach.
• Are willing to follow the complete protocol including device-combination and follow-up sessions for optimal outcomes.

It is not suitable if you have active infection in the treatment area, uncontrolled systemic illness, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have certain contraindicated skin/liver conditions, all of which we will review at consultation.

By layering exosome therapy with device-based procedures such as Morpheus8, laser resurfacing or microneedling, we can significantly amplify the treatment effect:

• Devices create micro-channels or controlled dermal injury which enhance exosome uptake.
• The regenerative signalling from exosomes supports the healing and collagen stimulus induced by devices.
• For hair-loss protocols, combining exosomes with microneedling and PRP can promote deeper follicle stimulation and improved hair growth response.

The result: more robust outcomes, longer-lasting effects and a more comprehensive regenerative approach.

• Immediately after treatment you may notice improved luminosity and a feeling of refreshed skin; on the scalp a slight tingling or mild redness.
• Over the next 2-4 weeks you’ll begin to see improved skin tone, smoother texture, less visible pores or superficial blemishes; on the scalp you may notice slower shedding and early hair regrowth activity.
• At 6–8 weeks you should see more meaningful changes: firmer, more radiant skin; less pigmentation or scarring; for hair, improved density and thicker-looking follicles.
• For sustained benefit, we anticipate maintenance treatments every 6-12 months, and will tailor these to your goals.

Very little. Most patients are up and about immediately. Some mild redness, very fine pinpoint marks (if microneedling used) may last 24-48 hours. Work and social activities need not be significantly disrupted.
