Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin in the morning after applying your Obagi treatment products, or as directed by your clinician.
Allow the lotion to absorb fully before applying moisturiser and broad spectrum SPF. As this product contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), daily sun protection is essential, and unnecessary sun exposure should be avoided while using the product.
More intensive exfoliation doesn't necessarily mean better results. The goal is healthy, balanced skin rather than visible peeling or irritation. If you're introducing AHAs for the first time or using other active ingredients such as retinoids, your clinician may recommend gradually increasing frequency until your skin has adjusted.

Yes. It's designed for daily use as part of the Obagi Nu-Derm® System, although if you're new to exfoliating acids your clinician may recommend introducing it gradually.
